In his TV shows, books and radio Dr Mosley talks about the importance of eating more prebiotic and probiotic foods, such as sauerkraut. As a result of all this publicity, awareness of fermented foods is huge. There is also a massive rise in vegan and free-from-gluten/dairy eating trends, which sauerkraut naturally fits. John and Annie developed a range of live fermented sauerkrauts such as Kimchi, Korean style sauerkraut, Curtido, South American style sauerkraut and the ever popular classic sauerkraut amongst others. It was a complete success.

Securing a pitch can be nigh impossible at these markets but John and Annie discovered that since no one else was providing these products and customer awareness and demand was high market operators quickly realised they needed to make space for Glastonbury Ferments. As well as Bath, Glastonbury Ferments also has pitches including Bristol with many other operators requesting us to attend their market. In fact we have more markets wanting us than we can currently attend. We have also attended vegan fairs to great success and have a number of festivals booked for the months ahead.
